This is a self-contained toddler unit offers 4 large rooms filled with lovely, age appropriate toys and equipment, and combined with qualified and caring staff that will ensure that your child`s day is happy and secure.

Each child will be treated as an individual with their own special requirements being met. Their day will be tailored to suit their needs. The above standard of care will be achieved by our high staff ratio which will ensure that all the children will receive full attention at all times.
Activities such as cooking, messy play, arts and crafts and lots of toys are freely available to them so that they never get bored! Tables and chairs are built at the children’s height so they can easily access everything. We have a quiet area where the children can take themselves off and read a story or have a lie down whenever they want to, or a nap during the day – perfect to recharge their little batteries!

The garden offers a welcome space to all children to explore and run every day.

During their time in the toddler suite, the children will explore the toilet training stage and we know tricky this can be for both you and your little one. Here the children can access toilets and sinks at a height that`s just right, and we will work closely with you on this stage of their development.

The nursery department is home for our preschool children learning everything they’ll need to before they go to school.

This open planned unit offers a large playroom, a home role play room and art room so that the children can freely move between these spaces and play opportunities.

Encouraging the children taking ownership for their own learning we empower them with everything they need to make choices and guide their own learning.

Messy play, cooking activities, arts and crafts, music and movements, singing and role play are just some of the activities on offer to them. Free access to the garden allows them to explore indoors and outdoors in all weathers.

Our interactive app will ensure that you are kept up to date with your child’s day including what they’ve explored and how they’ve been as well as of course how they’ve eaten
This app offers an interactive and direct communication tools between you and the staff caring for your child.

We have a large outdoor space for the children to explore comprising of bikes, road map, climbing frame complete with play safe surface, construction area and play houses.

All the children will have access to the garden throughout the day in nursery and will often go for walks to the local parks and beach. Story time when available at the local library is also great fun!

The large garden space allows the children to explore regardless of the weather and is full of exciting opportunities

When your child begins their transition to school we are able to support them through wrap around care.

We currently offer a drop off and collection service for Ysgol Pen Y Garth, Evenlode Primary, Bute cottage, Albert Primary, Victoria Primary and St. Josephs. We are also able to welcome the childcare offer for all eligible children.

Penarth nursery is open from 7.30 am until 6pm.

Upon registration we require a non-refundable Registration Fee of £75.00.

A deposit of £40 per day will be payable to secure the nursery place. This deposit is deducted from your final bill providing the required notice period is given.

Fees are due to be paid on either the 1st day of every month. Payment can be made via DD, government gateway or Nursery Vouchers. St. Aubin does not accept cheques.

Discounts
A 10% discount is offered to one child when two or more siblings attend the nursery on a part time basis. The 10% discount is taken from the fees of the oldest child.

A 15% discount is offered to one child when two or more siblings attend the nursery on a FULL TIME basis.

All fees will be calculated according to the sessions you have booked your child in for. All fees will be paid at a set fee every month. I.e. the number of sessions per week x 52 weeks divided by 12 – The bank holidays and the week we close at Christmas are then taken off your bill according to the days your child does.
