St Aubin Victoria Park
Situated close to the beautiful open spaces of Victoria Park in Cardiff, St Aubin Victoria Park provides a warm, welcoming and nurturing environment for babies, toddlers and nursery-aged children.
The nursery offers dedicated areas designed around each stage of a child’s development, giving children the space and support to explore, learn, play and grow at their own pace.

The baby unit
Set on the outskirts of Victoria park in Canton is the home to up to 30 of our smallest friends aged between 6 weeks and 22 months.
A home from home, away from all the hustle and bustle of the outside world you will find a soothing and tranquil baby environment. A space for up to 9 babies from six weeks until approximately 12 months this tranquil environment provides the calmness that is needed in those tender early years. The babies upstairs are stimulated with a range of age appropriate toys and equipment that encourage them to develop their own basic skills.
When they have mastered the art of sitting up and have grown in physical confidence their journey will take them downstairs into the older baby space.
Home to up to 21 babies, downstairs provides a more stimulating environment to the older baby. With plenty of space to move around the unit is just a stone throw away from their first experience.
Whilst in our baby unit, the babies enjoy their very own programme of activities such as painting or messy play. Their masterpieces are displayed around the unit for you to marvel at their first pieces of work and then can be taken home to treasure forever. The babies also enjoy frequent walks to Victoria park which provides them with the all-important fresh air that they need for a healthy development.
Meal times in the baby unit are used to provide those initial social stages. Learning from each other we believe and recognise the importance of group feeding times and therefore the children will use each other as their learning tools.
At this tender young age the babies will naturally need to be provided with a tranquil area for which to sleep. Quiet and tranquil rest spaces are created for the little ones to re- charge their batteries ready for their next adventure. Here they will find soothing music whilst the staff stay to soothe/ rock a child whilst they drift to sleep. They can also be closely monitored by the system of baby intercom that help us to sense any movement or waking within the rooms.
When the children reach approximately two years old, they will continue on their journey of development to their toddler and preschool, nursery ether through Welsh or English medium depending on your preference. Out Welsh nursery is in Cowbridge Rd or the English nursery in Romilly Rd.
If you decide you would like your child to follow an English education they will journey around the corner into.

Siblings of two or more children will receive a 10% discount for the older child whilst both children attend St. Aubin. This discount also applies to our out of school club facilities.
Your sessions will be charged on a set monthly fee and a financial year breakdown will be provided to you in advance
Upon registration we require a non-refundable Registration Fee of £75.00.
A deposit of £40 per day will be payable to secure the nursery place. This deposit is deducted from your final bill providing the required notice period is given.
Fees are due to be paid on either the 1st day of every month. Payment can be made via DD, government gateway or Nursery Vouchers. St. Aubin does not accept cheques.

Discounts
A 10% discount is offered to one child when two or more siblings attend the nursery on a part time basis. The 10% discount is taken from the fees of the oldest child.
A 15% discount is offered to one child when two or more siblings attend the nursery on a FULL TIME basis.

All fees will be calculated according to the sessions you have booked your child in for. All fees will be paid at a set fee every month. I.e. the number of sessions per week x 52 weeks divided by 12 – The bank holidays and the week we close at Christmas are then taken off your bill according to the days your child does.
